horses are stupid like that.I had a horse that deciddd during the night to weave his leg through a barbed wire fence. Not just stick it through once, oh no. That would have been too easy. In, out, and in again. Fortunately he was a sensible soul and stood there calmly blinking, who knows how long, till I spotted him, blood dripping down from his chest to a pool by his hoof. Had to get XH out there with wire cutters to get him loose. We were both late to work that day. Damnimals anyway, lol.
That thing is pretty awesome. It needs a quick release button though.oh I used that. Also picks of bits of gravel with any iron content.

No scars. He only had one little puncture wound in his pect. Mystery how he got so entangled.did the horse end up with scars OR did you use honey ??
