I think it depends a lot on the dog. When Scooter showed up, he was probably close to 2 yrs, unneutered, and not housebroken. He got the idea pretty quick, but it was a while before I trusted him completely. Getting him neutered probably helped the process.

That's what we do when we move. Too hard to bring everything...most of it goes toward charity, with the ones that aren't usable going to the trash. We used to be super particular about what stays and what gets thrown, but have learned that its often easier just to throw it out now instead of months later when you have already moved it and realized you never actually use it and/or its unusable. thats definitely a run-on sentence.
Well that makes 5, so we have enough to start a club! What should we call it? Basset Buddies? Babes with Bags?
