Granny's gone and done it again

Well. We did our walk, got home and he wanted to play. He did eventually settle for a little nap. Lol

I just came in from stuffing the dog houses full of fresh straw. Dogs aren't outside dogs but they love to be out even in the winter and when it's snowing or windy they will dive in a dog house until we come to let them in.

So I'm on my hands and knees when Diesel jumps up on the dog house I'm strawing down, grabs the hood of my sweatshirt and starts pulling tug a war style on it. He's pulling, the sweatshirt is up over my head with my arms trapped in the sleeves and suddenly my shirt is coming off with my jacket and I'm efficiently pinned, laughing my head off and yelling for help. He finally got distracted before I was minus my jacket and shirt and DH was able to get him inside so I could finish up.

DH was no help. he said if Diesel had come in with my jacket and shirt he would have just closed the door. He was joking of course....I think.

Did get out for a nice walk. Got the data card out of the game camera. One lone little doe who had the good sense to go nocturnal when all the shooting started a fox and a raccoon showed up on the pictures. Yesterday we had a nice Tom Turkey who was all by his lonesome. He's going to have a long cold winter if he doesn't find some roosting partners.

@Cynthia12, I hope your son gets over the Covid without complications. Bless your other son for volunteering to cook for the two of you. I'm glad you won't be spending the holiday alone. My worse Thanksgiving was the one I spent in the hospital when I had Rheumatic Fever. What ticked me off is the doctor came in the Saturday after and discharged me.

Sure hope they get to the bottom of the headaches, @CapricornFarm. Not fun especially when you have them every day.

Well that doesn’t sound like a good deal.

I had the most wonderful dream. My sisters and mom where there. I talked to my sister and she asked me what would we have done if I had lived and we moved in together? I said we would go for walks downtown arm in arm. She said we can do that. It was such a soothing dream. Then I went into the living room and sat on the floor. then remembered I couldnt get up because I was crippled. Mom looked at me and said your not crippled anymore and I got up . Then I wanted to go outside because someone bought me a horse but the house was up too high in the air and I couldnt get down and all the rest of my sisters were down there looking at the horse. I woke up happy.

Endured one of those until I was 8 years old. And yes, they do get cold.

I think I was older then that. I remember locking some old lady in her outhouse once. I was about 14 at the time. Never got caught.
