I do not own Pollacks,,,, I own a pollack, the rest ranaway in the sleet the other night..Stupid birds ran into the woods....They will never be seen again.
Don't suppose they were helped by a boot to the rear end?

I can't wait to start doing that. In the meanwhile, I found a local source for fresh roasted, and I have a really good hand grinder and an AeroPress, so I've been grinding fresh for each cup in the mornings (since I only drink one cup, it makes a lot of sense. SOOOOOO good!
Oh, I'm sure you can, I just decided not to bother.

Nope, I was trying to catch them and put them back in their pen/cage because they were running around like chickens with their heads cut off over the sleet....
Every other bird I own went back inside on their own. I caught the three in a net tried to get one out and two escaped and ran in opposite directions into the woods... I have not bothered to go looking for them. I know they were eaten.

Thought the same of my dumb rooster when he ran away. Back in two days. I was shocked. Birds just don't come back from the woods here.
Go on.... Keep it coming...Kristin....
Says the man who... Owns Pollacks? Lives where you think is cold? Takes aspirin after a head injury?

Definitely for the really big stuff and the you use large rocks and place them carefully, it takes longer. But you can use smaller stones and just pour them in (there are neat examples of very nice looking planters).
Has more chickens than the rest of MN put together? Ensures nice bonuses for his local feed store clerks? Takes flying leaps into bobcats? Owns turkeys? Hates ducks?Go on.... Keep it coming... As my friend says, "If we had some ham, we could make ham and eggs, if we had some eggs." Well, that's one way to deal with the problem. (Personally, I would never own a chicken that looks like Phyllis Diller.) I do sometimes get nostalgic for when I thought stale old coffee tasted just fine. Dang. - Ant Farm
