The first got Clostridium enterotoxemia and while she recovered and seemed to be better she died almost two weeks later overnight with no symptoms. The second was treated for mild Clostridium enterotoxemia, then the next week she got scours, then she stopped taking a bottle and we tried lots of stuff as the vet could not pinpoint it. Without a necropsy we won't know. I have never lost bottle babies before, but these two came from the same place, and I lost them both. I wonder what colostrum they got if they got enough, or what else because they failed to thrive. Bbl, I am just going to continue cleaning out the old hay an

I do not understand what you need to see inside an egg though. I am very anti-candling. I candle once on the day they move from the incubator to hatcher. I see no other reason to candle.
