EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

:bow I wouldn't live down there for ducks nor money.
:lau They're super easy to avoid. Well, if you're as good at spotting snakes in camouflage as I am. I grew up in the woods. Learning to spot them was one of the first lessons my dad taught me.
That's all I have is meat mutts. I only have one pure rabbit and that's my New Zealand doe. I have severel Flemish crosses too. Mostly Flemish crosses actually.
That's awesome. I was trying to get my hands on a good quality broken doe a while back, but it fell through because someone else got her first.
That and the heat.
Aw, it's only 84 right now. I'm hardly sweating after fixing up the smaller grow out pen and kicking the chicks out of the house.

Ermmm... That's a flower.
OK

Why are the heads still attached to the body of those snakes? All snake heads should be at least 8 inches from the main body.....for 2 hours or more.

I have been wondering what color pattern my chick is... I don't know much about different chicken colors and this one has me stumped. It is a 3 week old mutt.

That is actually a partridge colored EE, however exposure to dux has caused it to turn diarrhea tinted. Remove all dux from the area and it will go back to normal...

Yeah. That stinks, brokens are so pretty. I have quite a few brokens, most are kits between 6 to 3 weeks and I just had a litter with some brokens born yesterday. I actually traded a white buck for my two broken Does. Not sure how one buck equals two does but I'm not complaining! Those are Flemish X Rex crosses and when we bred them back to a Flemish X Rex buck we actually got a couple Rex coated kits.

I don't think that is it. There are no duxs around here... just chickens.

They are protected by low.

I am useless at spotting snakes... I've stepped on them before.
Only 84?? It's much cooler here and I am complaining about the heat.
