EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Years ago while weed wacking a pebble took out the largest window on my house. It couldn't have been the small easy window. Yes I had goggles on.
Better to look goofy than to not look at all.
I'll say...

Knew someone that had to go to the ER due to not wearing safety glasses whilst operating a mitre saw. Wood chip in eye.

You are so lucky!
We raised a pic or two growing up along with some beef. I fondly remember the freezer full of white packages...

Now I would have to buy from a farmer since I live in town.

Maybe some day I will move back to the country
The noise, smell, hard work all adds up and takes a toll on you. Some days it's like "what have I got myself into"? Other days (like last evening) remind you by tingling your taste buds.
A small Hobby Farm is a misconception. Still tons of hard work, but worth it on payday (Mystery Meat Day).

:hugs

I am so sorry!

I hurt myself in the silliest of ways. When I was in the 6th grade, I was waiting in the line to play 4-square with my hands in my pockets--while standing on black ice. I did a bounce up to keep warm and fell smack onto the blacktop. Broke off my two front teeth and have a nice manly scare on my face...Yea real tough!...A tragic 4-square accident....:lau
OWIE! Laughing with you.. not at you.

People really should wear goggles whenever they work with any kind of sharp tool or power tool. Had a friend who can't see in one eye anymore because he was using a snap-blade cutter and he had the blade fly into his (unprotected) eye when he went to snap the dull part of the blade off. Luckily he didn't go totally blind, just blurry in that eye.
