Publius ate my earring

Stinkin booger just yanked it out of my ear and swallowed it whole. :th
He's fine as of yet, and I'm a little upset that he swallowed my favorite earring now. :gig :rant
 
This isn't really a happy story, I suppose.
I've got 12 chicks. 6 who are 9 wks old, the others are 6 wks. I'm introducing them to the flock of 9. (6 I gave to a friend, yay new chicken lady on the block!)
I sectioned off an area of the run for the chicks. Things are going really well. The first batch is successfully introduced. They don't want to sleep in the coop, but they don't mind hanging out in there. The hens are taking this in stride. I've only seen one instance of pecking order establishing.
The second batch of chicks are now in that sectioned off area. They're really enjoying it. I hope integrating them goes as well as the others.
