HELP! Automatic turn wasn't working properly. 14 days in!

I am new to incubating in these swinging auto turners.
I thought it was working correctly but the I saw that the little arm that swings them was detached.
I have no idea how long it has been like that it very well could have been 14 days!
I have pretty much just made sure I kept the humidity right and the heat was good assuming the turner was doing its job.
Serves me right for assuming!
I candled them and it seems like most of them are developing properly.
I even saw lots of movement in some.
I got the turner working, now what should I do?
Is it a loss? Will they be deformed?

PLEASA HELP!!!! :(
 
Clearly, turning the eggs is important during incubation, so the risk of problems is higher if they haven't been properly turned. The BYC tutorial on incubating and hatching eggs states that "if not turned to a fresh position frequently during the early stages, the developing embryo touches the shell membrane and sticks to it causing abnormal growth" (https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/how-to-incubate-hatch-eggs-just-21-days-from-egg-to-chicken).

What I would do is proceed as usual (ensure the turner is working until lockdown) and hope for the best. You may still have a good hatch, especially since you're not sure how long the eggs haven't been turned - it would be best if it wasn't for long and later in the incubation.

Talked to someone that said he had hatched before without rotating once.
Bizarre!
