I'm going to elevate my 32 gallon garbage can on a simple 2 X 4 framework, above the coop floor to make more space for the birds. Plan is to raise it so that I can still conveniently dump a 50 lb bag of feed into the top and then make some sort of dispenser for the bottom. To that end, I'm hoping some of you have some clever ideas for a dispenser? Would a simple ball valve work or will it clog? Any and all suggestions welcome.
