Rooster was attacked and now not walking but is eating and drinking

So my rooster was attacked by a dog yesterday. He did a good job protecting the hens but I believe his leg is broken. There are no puncture wounds or blood. He is favoring his left side and is scooting around a isolation cage. He's eating and drinking. I am new at this and not sure if I should do anything else. I am wondering if his wing may be injured too. Should I just keep an eye on him and let him heal? Thanks
 
If there is no obvious injuries such as a broken bone the best thing to do is keep him isolated and keep him calm. Usually it is a soft tissue injury and they take forever to heal. Give him some time and see if he improves.

Could you send a photo of any visible injuries? A dog attack can mean puncture wounds, so check his skin and part his feathers, especially around his wings and back.

Does he have any swelling in his joints? If you manipulate his leg (GENTLY), does he show signs of discomfort in his hock or hip? Same with his wing.

You could crush some boiled eggs and add turmeric to it. Turmeric will bring down inflammation and the extra protein in the egg will help him rebuild tissue.

Some electrolyte or sugar water might perk him up, too. :)

So far there are no visible injuries other than lots of feathers missing. It's just so sad to see him scooting around. He's isolated in a mini coop and the hens keep checking on him but they can't get to him. I will continue to keep an eye on him. Is there anything I can give him as suplments to help him? Thanks for the responses!

Sorry I posted before I saw you post. I have tons of tumeric :) so I will add that to the eggs and shells!
We have moved him around a little and he tenses up a little but not much. I can't even see that anything is actually broken, I am assuming it might be. He flapped his wings last night but his right leg seems limp, he can only grip a little with his right foot but his left foot seems fine.

Seriously, though.... I would try and get him off his leg.

When you say "limp," do you mean it literally flops around like it's not attached to anything? When you manipulated his leg, did he struggle/push against you with that leg? See if you can give him a little support and watch for any bruising or swelling that might start.

I'm glad his injuries are no worse, but we need him back on two feet!

So yes he does flops around a little. He did not seem to struggle when we checked his leg, he did have some movement in his foot. I will check out that sling. And I will take pictures as soon as it's light outside. He's still eating and drinking.

Ok I did a box sling he didn't like it and was flapping his wings so I held him for about 1/2 hr and he seems ok now
