Hi all,
I just got home from work and went out to lock my chickens, duck and goose up early because I have to leave to go back to work. I brought out their favorite treat and called for them but they didn't come. We have 20 acres of forest and 20 acres of corn field. They usually stay in the yard (6 acres) and they ALWAYS come when called. There are no feathers or any sign of a struggle. I'm totally baffled. I was thinking they were in the trees, but the goose can't fly and the duck hangs out with him. I wouldn't think that a predator could get 12 birds, especially a 15lb goose. Thoughts???
