I have one hen who has laid a lash egg I'm thinking she has salpingitis but I haven't had it confirmed, she is lethargic, has very watery faeces and has lost a considerable amount of weight. She is spending time in the garden, eating and drinking but is very slow. I am monitoring her closely but Help! what to do about the other two? They have no visible problems and seem happy, they stopped laying some time ago but are over 2 years old now, will they get Ill too? Is it contagious?

Welcome to BYC. Salpingitis is not contagious normally, unless there has been vent pecking or mycoplasma or other infections in the flock. I wouldn't worry about it unless they have laying problems or symptoms. There is no real treatment that helps in salpingitis, but only to keep her comfortable and euthanize her when she gets to be in too much pain. Here is some reading for you:
