Hi, i got my
Lovely ducks when they where 6 weeks old, they are runners and now 25weeks and it is now apparent my matha and mable are boys :/ now myself and the children have become very attached to our Now dipper and Dave and don't want to part with them
But we also only got them to provide eggs,
So question is how many
Girls would i need to go with the boys and also how to introduce or am i stuck with my two lovely boys and no eggs ? Will they be ok together as they have lived together since hatching :)
They have the best characters and I love them so much :)

Do you have a way to separate when the boys go nuts? If so, you can get away with fewer girls. If not, you'll want to be sure you have enough for both boys attention - 3-4 per boy.

It will be a huge change in flock dynamics once you introduce hens to the flock....I have three hens and two Drakes...Once spring comes I will have to put my Call Duck pair in their own pen...Either build another Duck pen and get Hens or just enjoy your pet Drakes without getting eggs.....?

Cheers!

I would definitely get 4, I have three females for my 2 call drakes and one female got so over bred that I had to take her to the vet and put her in isolation because her eye got swollen shut from one of the males.
