Just built our new coop. Trying to find chicks/chickens in my area of raynham Massachusetts. Can anyone tell me where I can get some?

Hi and
welcome-byc.gif
I'm glad you joined us! Congrats on starting your chicken keeping adventures! There is a wide variety of hatcheries where you can get day old chicks. Including:
http://www.mypetchicken.com/, https://www.cacklehatchery.com/, https://www.efowl.com/.

And many more some other members might be able to suggest.

But since it is so late in the year you might have to take some extra care to keep your little fluff balls warm enough. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask or just hop right over to the Learning Center:

Have a great time on here and best wishes!

RODNTN has given you some great hatcheries to look into. We have had great success in working with each of them over the last few years.
Keeping those babies warm and happy would be of utmost importance with the weather changing over to welcome the winter season.
This community is a great place to go for any questions you have as you progress. Enjoy the adventure!

Greetings from Kansas, NewchickKaren, and :welcome! Pleased you joined our community! Getting kind of late in the year for ordering chicks but as RodNTN stated, there are a few hatcheries still selling some....not as good of a selection as earlier in the year, but still some popular breeds. Best wishes in your quest! :weee

Welcome to Backyard Chickens! Meyer hatchery is still selling peeps this time of the year. Good luck finding some babies, and I hope you enjoy BYC as much as I have!
