We have 4 new additions! We started with just 12 eggs, 8 were fertile and of those 4 have hatched so far. So gorgeous! Besides sharing the adorable pics, just wondering how everyone goes with reducing the temp? At the moment the brooder is about 35*c

Cute quail! I have never reduced temp after/during hatching.
Oh Sorry, I mistook lowering brooder temp for lowering incubator temp... I thought that sounded really strange.

The general recommendation on here is to reduce the temp with 5 F every week, usually by placing the lamp further from the chicks.
Congrats on the babies!

Your temp is fine. You can lower by 5 degrees a week and they will be fine. You might want to grind their feed up for them for the first week, also looks like you have a pan of water in there if so you need to add some marbles or small rocks to it to keep them from drowning or getting wet. if they get wet and lose body temp they might die. If you can find you a drinker like the one in my picture they work great. Congrats on the hatch.

Yes the marbles are in now! Silly me forgetting that, we've hatched chickens before but this is our first hatch of quail. Thanks for your reply!
