No yogurt it is! Come to think of it I remember telling clients no cheese with tablets to their dogs. Duh KP! Good call Kathy. Thanks everyone for the 'should of had a V8' moment.
Vet preferred orally only because she's so thin at it is she doesn't want to risk a site infection. Her immune system is pretty shot so if she were to get that she'd be done for sure.
So I will stick with mashed strawberries then? She tends to enjoy that more than anything else I've given her thus far. I gave her the first dose and she did better than I thought she would. I went really slow only a few drops at a time.
Like I said I know this is a long shot specially with her crop being as it is but I'd feel bad if I didn't give it a try. She's really a neat bird and so talkative. At least I know what to look for and how to go about treating if someone else's comes up sick.
