What to do if egg yolk drops out of your chicken's vent?

We just got the blood test results back and apparently, she had an infection, so the veterinarians asked us to give the chicken something called Clavamox. Does anybody know what this does?

Clavamox (Amoxicillin) is a somewhat broad spectrum antibiotic. It's excellent stuff and a great choice for treating and preventing infections. I always keep some on hand.
