If anyone is selling bantam olive eggers or bantam araucana hatching eggs please let me know in a private message or in this thread. I am also wondering if anyone here has any unusual or project corssbreeds that they have created and would like to spread across the nation through the selling of hatching eggs. Work in progress hatching eggs are fine too. I am particularly interested in bantam crosses / crossbreeds. More specifically, silkie / silkied types and crosses. Other kinds are great too. Just wondering what's out there.
Specifics:
Bantam Araucana
I'm looking specifically for bantam araucanas hatching eggs from stock that has the genes for tuft / tufted ears, some call it the feathered ear gene, AND rumpless gene, sometimes called tailless / tail-less.
Not looking for bantam ameraucana or americana, but a bearded and muffed ameraucana mixed with rumpless and tufted stock is fine, so long as those araucana genes are present. I understand that bantam araucanas are likely made from regular sized araucanas and a bantam breed or breeds for size and a purebred bloodline probably doesn't exist. That's fine with me. Comb can be pea or rose but other comb types are fine too. Shank / leg color should be grey but green, yellow and other colors are fine too. Feather color and type (frizzle, silkied) of any kind works for me.
Bantam Olive Egger
Olive eggers are relatively common. I understand that most are created as a crossbreed / mixed breed of isbar, ameraucana, easter egger hen or sometimes a rooster and a dark brown egg gene maran rooster or sometimes a hen ( copper marans / blue marans ) for the F1 green egger offspring, which is then cross with a maran to make an F2 olive egger. I'm looking for an olive egger made with bantam stock parentage. Any feather color works for me. Rumpless genes still present would be cool, but whatever made it through the culling process to get to the current generation works too. Copper maran type of look is the expected hatch considering crosses are usually 75% maran for the F2 olive egger generation.
I would preferably have the option to purchase such as by half dozen or dozen depending on the type and amount available.
Hope there are people out there with creativeness!
