Gosling (one day old) cant control neck/head

As I live in South Africa I can't get food specifically for goslings. I feed all my animals (even my dogs) homemade food and I find they are very healthy.

I have put the gosling by himself with a spare broody hen I had. They live in a chicken tractor so they do have access to grit, but prehaps like you said the gosling won't eat it. So I'll blend cooked pumpkin/butternut with eggs instead. I think that should be ok...what do you think?

Ps yes the gosling seems to be a little better :)

Awesome news about improvement. Just make sure the hen won't hurt the lil one My chickens freak out if some one isn't acting normal. Sure wouldn't want the lil one to get hurt.

Hey if you have been feeding all your birds this way and never had any problems then by all means just keep it up. You can't even get chick starter for chickens or an All flock feed for all poultry. Homemade is good as long as they are getting all the nutrients they need especially the B's for the water fowl. The brewers yeast is very important since that has niaicn in it which is for leg and neurological support.
