Chicken Run made from a round bale feeder

So I have access to an old round bale feeder. I plan on turning it into a mobile tractor for my girls to work in my garden. What would you suggest I do for a shelter and movement? It is already kinda heavy to begin with so I dont want to add to much more.

you could build a wooden circle to put the round baler on and attach these to the bottom and it should fix your issue but it still maybe heavy.

As far as a shelter you could maybe copy this kind of idea

I'd say too heavy for mobile......
......and too big for garden(vegetable garden, but you might be in UK and mean what we in the US know as the 'yard').

no I mean garden. I'm in Oklahoma and in need of my garden to get scratched down. This is more for the areas around my garden during growing season.
 
Normal way we moved them was to tip them up on the side and roll them where you wanted them to go, then tip them back up into place. This assumes they are the round ones. If the long version, are those not on skids?

As for cover, you may need some type of hardware cloth or wire to keep varmints out and perhaps cover the top with the plastic netting to keep your birds in and hawks and such out?

you can find those kind of tires in most hardware stores. they are called casting or caster wheels. I wish I was closer because I love a challenge when it comes to figuring out how to make something hard... easier..

The Bale feeder is heavy, but I have seen much heavier coops become mobile enough that a child could move it. but here is an idea I just thought of.... does your property have some stout trees? if so, you could easily go buy a cheap battery winch designed to go on a trailer and mount it to the round bale feeder. get some material and make some super easy skids or ski's and you just worked smart and not hard.

that way all you have to do is pull your wire around a tree in the direction you wish to go in and press a button.
