Was I bamboozled by a TS employee?

That's my thoughts. It takes more effort to digest whole corn as opposed to cracked corn, and rations have corn in them but the corn is ground to a powder. I digest soup quicker than something more complex and less cooked. I read the effort it takes to digest celery uses up any calories it cost me.
 
It's too bad I don't like celery a lot more!
