Man....it's so hard to not want to candle tonight...

Maybe I'll practice with some plain eggs to see about taking photos of them with the big girl camera :fl

Slave to 5 dogs and 8 chickens, and 13 chicks from my NYD Hatch...plus whatever might be in my incubator at any given time...

It didn't help. I figured out what I need my settings to be and now I want to candle the real eggs! :lau

What do you all use to mark your eggs? I've been using a soft leaded pencil, but it smears when I candle. Not that I'm entering any of my eggs in a fashion show, I just noticed (again) that it looks like I'm incubating dirty eggs!

Fine tipped sharpie
The voices in my head are fighting again.

My imaginary friend is running with scissors, and one of my personalities wandered off.

I don't like to think before I speak. I like to be just as surprised as everyone else about what comes out my mouth.

Sometimes even I am afraid of the things my mind comes up with.

Looks like at least half of my eggs are developing smile.png Looks like I may get a couple silkies and showgirls after all! It's going to be hard to restrain myself from candling but I'll probably candle again on Monday. That will be day 10 and should be long enough to know for sure what's developing and what isn't.
