Respiratory, environment, or parasite?

My understanding is that antibiotic support if your chickens get a virus is often a good thing because it can prevent secondary, opportunistic infections. I'm doing that right now in fact. Pretty sure they are sick with a virus but it's been deadly for my birds. I'm getting pathology done tomorrow.

magdelaine, I'm so sorry that you have lost birds. Please let me know what the pathology says and how the treatment works.

I only have 5 birds and can't afford any losses. Fortunately my vet is close. My birds are still very active, eating and drinking (and pooping) normally, so my vet wants to hold off on any extra meds for right now. If they take a turn I will call her right away and contact the local extension office to see if they can test any samples.
