I got this Marans in an order the week before Thanksgiving. It wasn't even supposed to be part of my order. The woman told me that she didn't have the 4 Ameraucanas that I ordered so she sent 2 Ameraucanas and 2 Marans (one black & one blue) along with the Cream Legbars that I ordered.


The first pic is of the left side which appears normal. The next 2 pics are of the right side which looks abnormal.

I've heard of a deformity in duck wings called angel wing, but in that the actual bone turns outward. To treat it you just strap it to their side so it can grow normally.
She looks like just the feathers are turning out though...

Yes, the wing looks like it is curling up, but it also looks much smaller than the other wing. Kind of like Nemo, which is what I was thinking of naming this chick. lol

That's perfect!!! It may just be a freak deformity; maybe keep a "journal" of how Nemo's life is like in case someone else has the same problem down the road?
