Chinese painted quail colour?

Can anyone tell me what colour this chinese painted quail is known as please, it's unusual i think.

That is a tough one indeed. I'm not too good at combination mutations. I'm decently convinced it's cinnamon. Apart from that, I'm pretty much guessing. It could be single factor pied or double factor blue face because of the white throat spot - but I've never seen how blue face and cinnamon interacts. There also seems to be some strange patterns on the chest and head feathers but that could just be due to the other mutations. I'm guessing it's still a young bird? Could be it molts into some more clear colors. It could also be red breasted for instance.
 
I think it's a male, as it has rust vent feathers, he's 5 weeks old at the moment, and he's taken 2 tiny chicks under its wing, that were the only survivors out of 11 eggs, I'm sure they think it's their Mum, and vice versa, so cute to see them nesting underneath him. I was also told by the person I had the eggs from, that they were American bloodline.

Oh, yeah, I agree it's a male. And cute that he's taking care of the babies - he might make a good dad one day.
