2 of my baby chicks hatched just 3 hours ago (hatched by broody hen) and i am very worried, you may be wondering why i am worried, so i shall tell you. One of my chickens went broody for the first time (it was a first for me and her) and chose the worse spot to do this........she went broody under my house! Which didn't make it easy to go under there, so i tried moving her to a different spot using the same eggs she was sitting on but she went back to her old spot and starting making sounds until i returned the eggs, so i left her there. 3 weeks later she hatched 2 chicks (hoping there's more) under the house and there many insects and bugs under my house, so i went under to check on them and i saw these tiny bugs all over the chicks which made me very worried, they were mostly around the beak area which makes me worried even more. Anyone know what it is? And should i be worried?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hard to see what they are... if you're that worried, just get a cat carrier or something similar and move her and the chicks into it to get her out of there... then you can check the eggs that are left too...

That's why I suggested a carrier to lock her in to... do you have an incubator? You could just put the rest of the eggs in there to finish, then give her the chicks...

Depends on what they are... some are harmless... some are not... if they're a blood sucking mite, they can definitely drain a chick into dangerous health...

Well i've had them on my skin and only felt them walking around, i am pretty sure i haven't ever felt them sucking.
