Quote: No. It is not at all the same thing. If they don't have it at your feed store you can order it on line. Or you can buy nutri-drench for goats. I've heard it is very similar.

OK, I'll order it tonight. One more question: Is it safe to give all of them or should I only give it to the weak one?No. It is not at all the same thing. If they don't have it at your feed store you can order it on line. Or you can buy nutri-drench for goats. I've heard it is very similar. It was just a stock photo of the Sav-a-Chick probiotic powder packet. I have that in their water right now. I didn't know if that was similar to the nutri-drench you were referring to...Sorry, I can't decipher your last post.
You can give it full strength to the weak one, simply put a drop up to it's beak and let it wick into it's mouth from the side. I don't like to put liquids directly in a weak chick's mouth. Be sure not to contaminate the bottle. Put the solution you're going to use for the weak chick in a separate container, perhaps a drop or two. You can buy extra eye droppers from your pharmacy. You can then mix some into their water to the consistency so that it looks like weak tea. You can give it a couple times/week, give some to the weak chick daily for a few days. If you put it in the water, change the water daily as it will foster bacteri growth in the water.
