Yes, another question about ventilation in the cold weather

That 1 sq.ft. per chicken number is for permanent 24/7/365 open ventilation.

Yes, I know. I'm counting the 8' x 1' big opening along the back and then the 4 inch opening all the way around the top of the coop. None of that is ever closed off. I'm not counting the windows. That would add a bunch more. But right at this moment they are closed. I could open that One on the end sounds like and that would add a little bit more.
There's nobody that can help me this week or weekend to make more holes on each end at the highest point of the roof. But hopefully I can get that done next week. The problem is it's going to be very very cold for the next four days or so. They all seem to be doing fine. I gave them some warm mash a few minutes ago so they are all very happy right now :)

Update. I think I am much more prepared for the next cold snap. I now leave that window on the southside propped open about 6 inches all the time. And I put up plastic sheeting. Most of the time the wind here blows from the south or south west so this should block a majority of it.
