Hello! I just joined and I am dying to meet some other chicken lovers like me! I have five beautiful hens that I fell in love with the moment I brought them home as chicks. I would love it if everyone would post their chicken pictures on this thread! That includes pictures of coops and the chickens themselves!

This is Auntie Chook, our Australorp.

This is Pebbles, our Silver Laced Wyandotte.

This is BlackBird, our black sex link.

This is Pumpkin, our Isa brown.

This is Angel, our amber link.

G’Day from down under poultrymaster  :frow Welcome!

Your girls are beautiful and I love their names; especially Aunty Chook ;)

You might want to say hello on your local thread: http://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you ‘Find your State’s thread.

If you are interested, there is a link to my chicken page in my signature.  Sadly, we lost KiKi.

I hope you enjoy BYC.  There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.  Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends ;)
