Pics need to be current where he is shivering.

Make every effort to understand your chicken's biology and the environment that supports it.

and hey! what are your temperatures where he is shivering? Outside? In the coop? Is he in the coop when he is shivering or outside? He looks adorable, but I think others are concerned he might have something else wrong. It is very cold up north here, but what is like right now where you live in California? Is your roo in an enclosed coop or is there adequate ventilation where he is shivering?

i will share photos soon. i was wondering though, you goys wanted photos of him while he was shaking. i cant show the shaking in the photo though!

I have 2 hoop coops an 8x8.. currently has 2 CX hens

And a 8x 24 that has everybody else: 24 chickens and 5 turkeys

Although the halloween hatch sometimes stays in the 8x8

Turkeys in the south half on top of old dog house turned into a coop.. now a huddle house

Divied so chickens can use both sides, but get away from turkeys.. old purple prefab coop used as roost, nest box and huddle house

was 4f and no one came out when I opened at 9am... usually I open at dawn and everyone comes out

Hens: 4 Black Jersey giants,  2 BR, 2 ISA ,  ...1 mix roo  ... labor day chicks 3 BJG mix (1 pullet), 1 BO mix pullet .. . Halloween chicks: 2  barred rock mix (1 pullet) and 4 cornish cross mix (1 pullet).... Turkeys: 1 BBB hen ,  4 Narragansett jakes  Yummy.....

1 dog 2 cats

If the hen defends her chicks beneath her wings; how much more shalt thou be safe beneath the wings of God ...

he has a small closed off area, then a pen where he roams. i did just put a tarp over the pen, and that is helping. the shivering has pretty much stopped.
