My 7 month old RIR and leghorn hens started laying eggs about a month and a half to two months ago and they're all laying small brown eggs. I have like 75 small eggs and it takes 3 of them to equal one large egg

Why are they all so small?

Because your chickens are so young and just started to lay. The eggs will probably increase in size a bit over the next few months. Keep in mind that different chickens and breeds of chicken will lay different size eggs.

That is strange, I know new layers will lay some "fart eggs" in the beginning but I'm not sure if it is usual to lay so many. Are you girls standard sized hens?
