I am glad you joined us!

Thank you! Really enjoying my girls so so much. They are pretty chilly tonight, only about 4* outside tonight. Their coop is much warmer but they are still ****** about winter! I heated them up some oatmeal to warm them up before roosting.

Though it may be a little too far for you to travel, but there is a Northeastern Avricultural society(NAS) meeting in Westford,Ma.They usually meet the 1st sun of the month, but Jan meeting is on the 2nd sun Jan 8th.Go to www.neasociety.com for info.Lots of birds, rabbits there.

Tony,

Thank you again for the note about the fair- it might be a huge help. Do they often sell day olds there? I've got four in the incubator down from seven (PO scrambled them during transit and it's going to be a bad hatch out I think). I'm worried only one is going to hatch- and I know they don't do well alone. I'm looking to pick up a couple day old ASAP to put in the brooder to help this ones chances. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

We found a woman in Middleton - so we ran down last weekend early Saturday morning. As soon as we turned around- got caught up in that snow storm that came through! 5 hours ended up as 9 with a quick stop at the Longhorn in Springfield! But... we got two little cuties in the brooder box!

I am to hatching eggs are we suppose to add water for our incubation

It depends, you don't want the humidity too high because they won't lose enough moisture from the egg, I usually start around 35% humidity then adjust according to aircell growth, do you have a hygrometer or are you going to weigh your eggs?

:welcome
