Nope but tried laying one on the floor under the roost on top of the hay/pine shaving litter. It was so gross cleaning poop off the board that now I scoop it up with a little dust pan and a hand garden rake. The litter/poop goes into a cart that gets emptied onto the compost pile when it's full. If I miss a day oh well deep litter. I don't think the deep litter works all that well if I never take out the night poop. This way there are fewer complete cleanouts.

Not exactly answering your question but at least some response. Sometimes my posts seem to drop into the void.

I am going to have a suspended poop board in my shed does it matter if it swings/moves a bit?

Mine used to be suspended by chains, but when I rebuilt them (too narrow) I instead just bolted them under the roosts.

I don't use poop boards, I use poop trays, filled with granular Sweet PDZ. Scooping out two 6 foot trays takes all of five minutes, which IMO is much easier that trying to removing them, hosing them off, then replacing them.

No, so long as it just swings a bit. Too much and it will spill the poop onto the floor. That's the reason my newer trays are bolted.

i aborted a poop board after realizing it would mean having to wipe it down every day or two which is entirely too much poop contact for whats required...deep liter method works fine
