Roo has bleeding leg / Being pecked

Our roo has a bloody leg around his ankle area. Looks like pretty red thick blood and some of the hens are pecking at this area. What should I do? Thanks.

If he were mine, I would remove him from the flock until he heals up.

Buy Blu-kote spray for it.....

Good idea, I've used Blu-Kote on our hunting dogs before. Seemed to work great. We cleaned him off and applied Vaseline for the night. We just checked on him and he's laying on the coop floor by himself. He will usually sleep there or on the bottom rung of the roost. Thanks Guys!
