Hi, We have been losing about a hen a month over the last 3 months. Ages vary from about 2 years old on up to 7 years old. There doesn't seem to be any adverse behavior leading up to it, I'm just finding them dead in the coop. There is always food and water available, they sometimes free range but not so much lately due to the presence of hawks. This mornings find was fresh, rigor hadn't even set in yet. They are heavy which leads me to believe they aren't starving. All seem to be laying well and behaving normally then they drop dead. Our weather hasn't really gotten cold yet, will tonight though. Up until now we have only had a couple nights below freezing. Any ideas would be great. Judging by some of the other queries here it doesn't seem to be rare...

Thanks a lot.
