Thread Starter
Hello, I am a new member, currently in South Mississippi, however am moving to western Washington state in the next few months. I intend to acquire some laying and meat chickens, and various other animals, once there, and hoping to gain as much knowledge about them as I can. I get the feeling I can do that here.

G’Day from down under Gypsyturtle77 :frow  Welcome!

I hope your move goes smoothly.

I also hope you enjoy BYC.  There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.  Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends ;)
