Dog attacked my chicken so mad!

Just lost 20 birds to midnight dog attack on Thursday. Think it might have been landlords dog from about mile away and my dominant roosters are gone. Two of my remaining roosters got the raw end of the stick so to speak in the battle to rule to flock and now they are basically catatonic. They havent crowed and I'm not sure the one has even eaten. Is there anything I can do? I am thinking about seeing if they will get along with each other and I have a small house they could live in. One of them is one of only two survivors from the attack that my son just adores and he will be devastated when he finds out.
Show pictures of surviving birds. Did you actually see dog(s) after chickens?
Yes, I saw it in the pen when I came out. Couldn't catch it though and lucky for it. Talked to vet this morning and he suggested a couple of things both of which I am doing now. They have both eaten and are drinking so now to just give them time.
