Hi there from TN, USA

My name is Minnie and I've had 5 hens since the summer of 2016. They've been quite forgiving of some of my mistakes as I learn how to best take care of them... that said, I'm surprised it's January and I still get at least 3 eggs (if not 5) every day. They are total sweethearts (:

Hi Minnie, it's nice to have you here! If you haven't already done so, check out the Learning Center...there are a lot of good articles there to help you out with all phases of raising poultry. And if you'd like to 'meet' other members from MN, just type your state name in the search box and your state thread should pop up.

Thanks for joining us!

G’Day from down under Minnie :frow  Welcome!

As you have some great starting points from N F C I will just add that I hope you enjoy BYC.  There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.  Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends ;)
