I may decide I want a roo for my girls, but I need a good breed that is friendly... well, at least not known to be super mean.

Silkies and Buff Orpingtons are good, I have a silkie and he gets mad if I don't give him attention and crows whenever I walk by the coop!:D

Black Austalorps are very nice and are good protectors.Most of them are.... depends on there genetics.Here is mine

I've heard buff Orphingtons are great! And I've always wanted silkies!
