Keeping Baby Chicks With Older Chicks

I have 6 silkie chicks that are 1-1.5 weeks old in the brooder right now. In about 3-4 days, I should have another 6-7 silkie chicks hatch. Would these baby chicks be able to live with the larger ones, or will I have to put them in another brooder? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd be inclined to keep them separate, at least for the first couple of weeks.
 
Okay, Thanks. The bigger chicks do seem a little aggressive, so I think that it would be wise if me to do that.
