Welcome!

Sorry, living in Aus I am not able to assist with your chicken search but you might want to say hello on your local thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you ‘Find your State’s thread.

Good luck!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends

Greetings from Kansas, jwlsunshine, and :welcome! Great to have you in our community! Are you looking to order baby chicks that will grow into hens that will supply you with the various shades of eggs? Or are you looking for established hens? If it's the latter, Teila gave you the same advice I would have. If you are going the chicks route, I'd explore the various hatcheries and custom an order. Google Murray McMurray, Ideal Poultry, Meyer Hatchery, Stromberg's, Cacke Hatchery...others. You will be overwhelmed with what's out there in terms of variety! Happy hunting! :)

Thanks for joining us, good luck getting your flock started!

Welcome to BYC

A few hatcheries sell oliver eggers and lavender chickens in various breeds. Meyer where I am getting my chicks have lavender orpingtons but they cost a pretty penny. Also the olive eggers they sell are sold out for the year already. I have been looking for OE myself around here with no luck yet.

I have the same goal, multi colored egg basket this is what I am getting in April:
1 Golden laced Wyandotte Brown eggs
1 Golden buff, sex link brown eggs
1 Easter egger, could be blue or green or pink or brown eggs, hopefully not brown.
1 Blue Americauna, Blue eggs (lavender color bird)
1 Barred rock, brown eggs
1 light brown leghorn, white eggs
1 Meyer meal maker, unknown what I will get but I asked for a white egg layer if possible.

Welcome to BYC! I am glad you joined us! For colored eggs, lavender hens, and olive eggs: I would suggest Easter Eggers, Lavender Orpingtons, and Olive Eggers. And for a great hatchery, I would check My Pet Chicken out:

https://www.mypetchicken.com/

They have tons of chicken breeds for sale, plus lots of chicken accessories!
I hope you enjoy BYC and find it helpful, best wishes!
