I just bought two new hens today :) I'm pretty excited about them. I know one (the one with blue legs/face) is a Silkie cross. I can't remember what the other is crossed with.

The top photo is Snowbell, and the bottom is Rice.
 
Congrats! Hopefully they come through quarantine with no signs of illness and you can get them in with your other birds and the integration goes smoothly :)
 
Fingers crossed! Their quarantine pen is in the opposite corner of the yard from my coop.
 
You might wanna treat for scaly leg mites while they're in quarantine because the bottom girl looks like she has them. I'm battling with them on a flock of OEGBs I recently rescued and have in quarantine.
 
Snowbell is a bit of a jerk. I've had to place food in multiple locations so that Rice can have some.

I'm getting some Ameracaunas next week and then my flock will be complete. Now I just have to build a second quarantine area.
 
The two new girls seem to want to stay in their makeshift coop a lot. They've come out to eat and drink and forage a bit, but they're mostly hiding out.

Does this sound like something to worry about? To be fair, I've been in the yard a lot today and making a lot of noise getting a second quarantine space ready.
