Sorry new to chickens and this site so I'm sorry if this has been asked, I got our baby chicks Nov 11,2016 and I recently put them outside in a coop. They are fully feathered and we are in California. My question is do I need to keep the heat lamp in the coop at night I think the coldest it gets is 37 degrees. Thank you in advance

If you are still worried about them after removing the light, simply check on them when they are in the coop.

If they needed the light they'd be all huddled together to try and stay warm.

The other way is to observe them when the light is on, if they are staying away from the light then they don't want/need the heat from it.
