So I had two eggs that pipped at the same time. About 12hours later after I noticed the pip on the Serama egg was already zipped all the way through but the membrane looks dark as if there was blood that he could have accidentally pecked at a blood vessel? Anyway, the Polish egg still had the same small pip.. Well 8 hours later Serama egg is still the same and probably dead as I can't hear peeping and membrane is still dark while the Polish egg zipped and hatched! Should I at least take the shell off and try to keep the membrane intact and see if the chick is still alive
