Welsummer x Delaware sex link chick pics?

Still curious about what the chicks and adults would look like. Has anyone tried this cross? The genetic calculator says this, and no idea what exactly it means!

Welsummer (Patridge. light brown) roo with Delaware (Columbia pattern) hen, offspring would be:
50% Pullets, black patterned gold incomplete-columbian
50% Cockerels, black patterned yellow/golden*S columbian

*S = heterozygous Silver S/s+

Hello. I saw your question has been here for over a year so I decided to register just to give you the little bit of info that I have. Back in October someone gave me 2 baby chicks. When I got the chicks they were 7 weeks old. The person that gave them to me told me he had a Welsummer rooster and a couple of Delaware hens. He said all of the male chicks were white and all of the females were brown. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the the chicks younger than 7 weeks old. If you'd like I can take pictures of the 2 roosters now and also upload the pictures of the chicks when they were 7-8 weeks old.

Thanks CailChook, I would love to see them! I'm collected eggs right now to hatch and I'm going to a have a few of the Wel/Del cross in it.

The pictures of them are the 1st day I got them. I was told they were 7 weeks old at the time and he had already given away all of the pullets and only had these males left. According to the guy that gave them to me all of the females were brown and the males white. I'll try to pictures of these two boys tomorrow. They grew to be a good size and I think they are good looking roosters. I wish I could get some Welsummer/Delaware crossed pullets to go with them.

This is him today at almost 6 months. I'll try to get you a better picture of him soon. I'm in the process of building their coop and in the meantime I've got them in a small enclosure. He's a little stooped over because of the low roof but he's really big when you see him standing upright. I still have his brother as well and I'll try to get you a picture of him too. A year was a long time to wait for a reply, hope this helps
