Hi there

Sorry if this has been raised before. Also sorry if this is already the case, I did look but could not find it.

As the subject indicates this is regarding the Topic of the Week. I love the ToW’s and not only do I refer back to them often, I also point other members in their direction.

For example, a question on Lice & Mites and treatment brands to use; besides reply with what I use, I also added a link to that particular ToW which gives the OP quite a few BYC opinions already available in one spot, rather than waiting for more responses. However, to find the ToW's which I remember were discussed, I am using the Search option.

Anyways, I am wondering if you think it would be a good idea to have all the ToW’s together in one spot? For example directly under the Forum link or sub level within Forum or even in the Learning Centre? Meaning you can go to Topic of the Week and see all the previously discussed topics in a list?

I think its a good idea, Teila. Maybe a learning centre article that summarises the input on each ToW could constitute an article, along with a link to the respective ToW thread

Cartsportpony is doing something analogous on her "medical kit" thread, i.e. creating something that is currently a live document, and incorporating input from members. Once completed, if its fleshed out a little (short descriptions for the kit, where necessary) then it will be a great resource for everyone and I'm sure it will become a Learning Centre resource.

Well to touch on the lice subject, me and my family try to be as natural as possible,so l use alive oil for small cases of lice. I practice my vet skills on friends, family's, neighbors and of course my chicken and that has always worked but l have never been the to watch it each day cause it has never been are chickens who have them

Hey there BBCHICKS123

Sorry if I caused any confusion, my post was in relation to the Topic of the Week and I used Mites & Lice as an example for my suggestion.

I think it would be good if you could add your method to the existing Topic of the Week regarding lice and mites so that there is a varied range of options to choose from on that thread:

This is a good idea @Teila . I think I'll make a list in an article, since the discussions are too varied to post in any particular section, and then update the article with the links as I start new threads. And link to the article when I start a new thread, as I do when I post interviews…
