My finch broke/sprained her wing can she live?

My finch got out of her cage and broke or sprained her wing other than not flying around she is doing great but can she live if she can't fly?

She doesn't need to fly to have a good life. Just keep her in a smallish cage. No flight cages for her. The small cage will let her wing rest if it is just sprained. I raised a canary that was blind. She did fine. Just kept her in a small cage to herself and made sure her food, water, and perches were never moved.
 
Thank you I have her in a small cage by herself she is eating and drinking and running around just fine just not flying so I'm hopeful thank you
 
if she can keep her wing in the correct position then its probably not broken. A lot of bird can not fly and they learn to get around just fine as long as they are not tripping over there own wings. The wing may hang slightly lower and be slightly swollen if it is damaged. As long as its not swelling badly it shouldn't be a problem.
If the wing is fully down then that can be a problem and the cage floor should be covered with paper so it can not get trapped in the bars. Time will tell if the wing will heal so I wouldn't cull unless it was causing distress or had the bird to a point where it could not move freely. By the sounds of your post that doesn't seem to be the problem.

I don't necessarily have experience with finches but as a wildlife rehabber who's worked with (larger) flying birds, I have some experience with this kind of thing. A broken wing alone will not generally kill a bird. Though, I agree with the above, if she's holding it up in its correct place, its more likely a sprain or tissue injury rather than a break. If you could have her seen by a vet, that wound be ideal. However, otherwise, I would recommend keeping her very quiet. Don't handle or disturb her much, maybe offer some electrolytes in her water to help with shock.
 
I think she will be fine. Doesn't sound like the wing is causing her any grief. I think small cage birds don't do much flying, I used to have canaries and they just jumped from perch to perch or floor without using their wings.
