I purchased 5 guinea last summer and they were kept with some silver laced Wyandotte hens and a rooster of around the same age. They ended up roughing the rooster up, but did not kill him. We kept the Wyandottes coop with covered run but allowed the guineas to free range. They then started chasing my free-ranging pasture hens back to the pasture coop each day. At that time I also had 5, 5 month old roosters, they would attack them but more aggressively. One rooster in particularly they blooded his comb and wattles, chased him until he took refuge under a car. I gave away the guineas, they were more trouble than good. Glad to be back to my happy hens.
 
I had guineas that would corner a chicken and pick on her un-mercilessly. I would have to go in and save the chicken on many occasions. I eventually decided to re-home my guineas due to their aggressive nature. I did have some very gentle guineas, but they were not worth the trouble with the noise and their tendency to perch on my house, barn, garage etc. Chickens were much easier to take care of.
 
Oh gosh the noise, terrible. I knew before getting them they could/would be. I thought having been brought here young and growing up in this environment they would get used to things and quiet down. After 6 months I had enough. I rehomed ours mainly because of the chicken aggression but the noise was a close second reason. I was so thankful I did not allow the guinea breeder to talk me into 10, stuck with my plan and brought home 5...and glad those are gone.
