Hi,
I am looking for someone who has been raising turkeys for some time who I can interview on raising them. I want to do an article on why different people keep different types of poultry, but as I have not owned every type of poultry, i need some help.
 
I personally got them because I heard they were a possible hawk deterrent and I was losing a lot of birds to hawks. Thus far, it seems to be working. Though I have seen a few hawks and even had some swoop down while I was standing right in the midst of the birds, I have not lost a single bird to a hawk since I got them. Of course, the crow population in my area also seems to have been higher so it could all be coincidence!
